Arctas: Moving the Needle 07.16.26 – Intellect Solutions, AE, Kentro, TekSynap, Coretec, Avyance, ARC, OMNI, eSimplicity, Heartland, BLEN, Akumen, Skyward, Amida, Unanet, MartinFed, RIVA

Today’s Arctas activity reflected a familiar pattern. Companies combining leadership moves, contract wins, AI innovation, and strategic positioning continued to separate themselves from the pack.

Leadership and strategic momentum set the early tone. Sean Fitzpatrick was promoted to Chief Digital Officer at RIVA Solutions, while Christel Compton joined TekSynap to support its FedCiv portfolio. MartinFed also generated attention announcing its acquisition by Beth and Devin Whitaker, marking a new chapter for the company.

Contract momentum quickly followed. Intellect Solutions gained traction after securing an NIH NIAID System Administration and Program Management support task on the NEAT BPA. Acquisition Experts was selected as a prime on the Coast Guard’s $95M Contracting and Procurement Support BPA. Kentro surged after landing an $85M SSA Systems Operations Support Services task. TekSynap continued its momentum by capturing the first awarded task order on the Alliant 3 GWAC while Coretec beat out five competitors for a $10M Peace Corps IT Service Desk Support contract. Avyance added another FAA infrastructure planning award, and ARC beat out 20 competitors to secure an Institute of Museum and Library Services Grants Management contract.

Defense and mission support drove sustained engagement. OMNI picked up visibility with a $67M Air Force DevOps-as-a-Service SBIR Phase III award, while eSimplicity secured a DISA EMS Services Applied Engineering, Spectrum, and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects analysis support IDIQ. Heartland also surfaced after winning USDA nationwide appraisal services work.

Innovation and platform activity rounded out the day. BLEN launched an open-source AI-enabled GSA MAS Skill tool to simplify Schedule proposal development. Amida introduced TorQE, a Medicaid data validation platform for state agencies. Skyward IT Solutions announced its GSA 8(a) STARS III recertification. Akumen drew attention after being named the Boston Business Journal’s fastest-growing small business. Unanet also generated discussion breaking down the Department of War’s suspension of CMMC Phase II requirements and what it means for federal contractors.

No spin. Just experienced leaders, concrete wins, and market relevant moves.
