OMNI picked up visibility with a $67M Air Force DevOps-as-a-Service SBIR Phase III award, while eSimplicity secured a DISA EMS Services Applied Engineering, Spectrum, and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects analysis support IDIQ. Heartland also surfaced after winning USDA nationwide appraisal services work.
Innovation and platform activity rounded out the day. BLEN launched an open-source AI-enabled GSA MAS Skill tool to simplify Schedule proposal development. Amida introduced TorQE, a Medicaid data validation platform for state agencies. Skyward IT Solutions announced its GSA 8(a) STARS III recertification. Akumen drew attention after being named the Boston Business Journal’s fastest-growing small business. Unanet also generated discussion breaking down the Department of War’s suspension of CMMC Phase II requirements and what it means for federal contractors.
