Today’s Arctas activity moved across AI, data modernization, and federal health, with repeat winners adding work and several highly competitive awards pulling attention.
Leadership and modernization set the early tone. William Winstead, an Air Force HRM IT Portfolio Manager, joined Concept Plus, adding another experienced federal technology leader to the industry ranks. Deloitte also generated engagement across two fronts, securing an NIH Data Strategy and Repository Modernization Assessment contract while CBP readies its DIME Digital Modernization IDIQ through SBIR Phase III with the firm.
Federal health continued to draw attention. Black Canyon Consulting secured a $15M NIH NLM ClinicalTrials.gov IT Support contract. The Artemis Arc and Aptive joint venture beat out five competitors to win a VA National Center for PTSD support task on IHT 2.0. The Ansible and CVP joint venture added a pair of VA ICSP task wins, while NetImpact secured a DHA Texting Solutions contract.
Civilian agency work brought another round of competitive activity. Bridgecross picked up two NOAA awards supporting the National Geodetic Survey and Marine Chart Division. KLSA added a Commerce Department EDA Grant Review Services contract. FWI surged after beating out 43 competitors to secure USDA ORMS Correspondence and Content Management Support work. REI Systems also gained visibility after winning a NASA Science Mission Directorate Operating Model and Organizational Design contract.
AI and defense modernization brought scale to the day. Booz Allen beat out two competitors to secure a $312M DoD WHS Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence 2.0 task. JMA added a $17M Navy RMF Support task on 8(a) STARS III, while BCG secured a $39M NAVSUP Advisory, Analytical, Technical and Transformation contract.
