Today’s Arctas activity highlighted companies expanding capabilities, investing in leadership, and finding new ways to advance digital government, federal health, and national security missions.

M&A and executive moves set the early pace. Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) drew attention after acquiring SNR, expanding its communications and network engineering capabilities. Kathy Klapacz was named Chief Operating Officer at Oddball, while Michael Pafumi joined eSimplicity.

Federal health and digital transformation added another layer. Tria Federal launched its Healthcare Trilemma campaign, opening a new conversation around the challenges shaping federal health. GovCIO partnered with CLEAR to pilot a new approach to secure veteran access to VA.gov. RIVA also gained visibility supporting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s newly redesigned public website. Sweetspot achieved FedRAMP Class C certification through its partnership with Knox Systems, while AttainX secured CISA DocuSign Digital Transformation Support Services.

Homeland security and civilian agency work continued to build. RELI Group secured a TSA award supporting the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program. SHR continued its FEMA momentum with an $11M Disaster Assistance Portal Cloud Hosting and Services task. Savan added its third task under DOT’s IPSS III BPA, while Improvix Technologies earned a position on DOJ’s $989M Rapid Technology Services BPA. TJFACT beat out 16 competitors for State Department INL Program Assistant Support, and Watkins Government Services topped eight for NLRB Internal Control Support.

Defense and mission support brought scale to the day. Strider secured an $85M Air Force OCEA SBIR/STTR Program Screening contract. TAPE added a $10M Army Aviation Center of Excellence support award, while ITinfra beat out three competitors for DLA Network Partner Support on JETS 2.0. Acquisitions, new leadership, secure digital platforms, and mission-focused wins. The early FY27 market continues to reward companies building both capability and reach.
