Today’s Arctas activity showed that the early FY27 market is not waiting around. Major contract vehicles, repeat agency wins, new AI capabilities, and executive moves are already giving companies fresh momentum.
Enterprise modernization and vehicle positioning set the early pace. Easy Dynamics, Zartek, TCG, and CTG gained visibility after being named to the $220M FedHub Managed Service Office Operations Support BPA. Buchanan & Edwards generated strong attention after securing a $90M State Department CGFS Compensation and Financial Systems Services BPA. Quantum Sky added a $60M DOJ Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance support task, while Carney secured a $25M CBP AMOS OPSTAR contract.
Competitive civilian agency wins continued to build. Michael Shannon Consulting beat out six competitors to secure a $12M DOT CFO Financial Management contract. SPN Solutions stood out after beating out 37 competitors for EEOC Unified Data Analytics Platform support. RIVA added significant momentum with six NOAA NEITS tasks expanding its emerging technology and cybersecurity support footprint. Dynamis also stacked two homeland security wins, adding TSA Intermodal Security Training and Exercise Program Support alongside CISA Infrastructure Security Exercises work.
Defense and mission technology drove another wave of activity. GDIT secured a $30M Army USAISEC COMSEC and Information Assurance Support task, while NIRA added an Air Force AFRL SBIR Phase II LEGACII AI Research contract. Data Fueled Solutions also expanded its support for the VA SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program.
AI platforms, partnerships, and market access added to the conversation. ASSYST’s ComplySyncATO became awardable on the DoD Platform One Solutions Marketplace. Kinetic launched Intelligent Win, a competitive intelligence platform built for federal capture teams. The Abt and National Consulting Partners mentor-protégé joint venture also secured a GSA MAS award.
Leadership and industry perspective rounded out the day. Angel Diaz was named CEO of X Corp Solutions. Melissa Murray joined Peraton’s defense organization, while Trevor Springman stepped into a new role supporting the same business. Ocean 5 Strategies‘ Kris Brinker also drew attention examining how the shift from the Defense Acquisition System to the Warfighting Acquisition System could reshape GovCon marketing and positioning for FY27.
New vehicles, sharper competition, AI platforms entering the market, and experienced leaders moving into position. FY27 is already taking shape.
