Today’s Arctas activity showed where early FY27 momentum is taking shape. Major defense technology awards, expanding agency relationships, and experienced leaders moving into new roles put several companies in focus.
Leadership and strategic growth set the early tone. Gary Barber was named Group CTO for Digital Modernization and Experience at ICF, while SAIC recruited Army LTG (Ret.) Stephen Smith, adding senior military experience to its team. GRVTY also generated attention after announcing $125M in classified prime contract wins during Q3 2026.
Defense and mission technology brought scale. Rune secured a $94M Army award for TyrOS, supporting NGC2 sustainment mission command capabilities for I Corps. SPA added a $52M DARPA Operational Support Services contract, while Booz Allen landed a $25M Air Force AFRL QATANA Quantum Information Science R&D award. Empower AI generated strong engagement with a $205M DCSA Enterprise IT Customer Support Services contract. FalconTek continued its Army momentum with a USARCENT staff support services award, while an Acro Systems-led joint venture secured GFEBS Training and Support work.
VA and federal health remained active. DSS secured a $9M VA Clinical Decision Support Service IDIQ, while TMPC added a VA Business Executive Administrative Management and Program Assistant Services BPA. PFS continued its IHT 2.0 run with a Women’s Health Mini-Residency Training Program support task. VAAS Professionals secured CDC Program Monitoring and Evaluation Support, while Laurel Health added an Indiana Telehealth and Teleconsultation Landscape Assessment contract.
Civilian and homeland security work drove another wave of engagement. Skyward beat out seven competitors for FEC eDiscovery and FOIA Processing Services, while a Lynker-led joint venture secured NOAA HSL Fishery Monitoring Feasibility and Pilot Deployment work. ATSG topped 11 competitors for State Department INL International Negotiations Advisor Support. RELI Group expanded its TSA footprint with a Law Enforcement Officer Reimbursement Program award, while Sky Solutions added a FEMA Learning Management Ecosystem task.
Agency access and modernization rounded out the day. AttainX earned a position on the GSA Constituent Services BPA, while Pyramid Systems secured HUD OCIO Operations and Maintenance work through GSA.
Big defense awards, repeat agency wins, and seasoned leaders moving into position. FY27 is already showing where companies are investing and gaining ground.
