Arctas attention today moved toward companies expanding through acquisition, adding proven leaders, and converting competitive pursuits into meaningful federal wins.
M&A and leadership moves set the early tone. Reply generated strong interest after acquiring FedTec, adding its broad defense and civilian footprint. DCG also moved up following its merger with Urban Emu, bringing additional USDA past performance into the organization. Bob Burnett joined D&G Solutions as the company strengthens its executive team for its next phase of growth. Zeshan Khan moved from Peraton to Unissant as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions, while Richard Pineda was named Executive Chairman of the CALIBRE Board of Directors.
VA and federal health activity quickly followed. The Artemis Arc and Aptive joint venture secured a VA Health Care System Medical Support task on ICSP. LMI gained traction with a Human Centered Design VistA as a Service SBIR Phase III task. Intellect Solutions continued its momentum, beating out four competitors to secure a pair of NIH NEAT BPA tasks valued at $24M. ASSYST added a CDC MMP MMD Rollout and Maintenance task on CIO-SP3 SB. GovAllies also hit an important milestone, landing its first prime win with FDA Enterprise Learning Strategy and Operational Launch Support.
Competition-driven wins drew another wave of attention. The JPI and TechPride joint venture beat out 34 competitors to secure Coast Guard Business Operations Program Management and Analytical Services work. Axiom topped 13 competitors to win NOAA Tsunami Warning System ISSO Services support.
Defense work rounded out the day. Valiant beat out two competitors to secure a $299M Army National Guard MCTSP MTCCS II task award, while Empower AI added a $51M USAISEC C5I/IT Engineering and Implementation Services task.
Vehicle positioning added to the momentum. Global Alliant surfaced after being recertified on GSA 8(a) STARS III, extending access to one of the market’s key small business IT vehicles.
No hype. Just acquisitions, proven talent, competitive wins, and companies positioning for what comes next.
