Today’s Arctas activity reflected another strong day for AI, federal health, and mission modernization, with leadership moves and major contract wins driving the conversation.
Leadership, growth, and M&A set the early tone. Ravi Mudumby joined Inadev as a Partner, while Vivek Gupta strengthened RHO‘s growth organization. Agile Defense also generated engagement after naming Carrie Supko Vice President for Homeland Security. Acentra Health rounded out the leadership story by acquiring FEI Systems, expanding both its technology platform and clinical solutions portfolio.
Contract momentum quickly followed. Tech2i continued its strong run with another CMS award supporting Data Governance and AI Standards. Blue Water Thinking gained traction after securing a VA Community Care Network Manuals task on IHT 2.0. SAIC generated significant attention after receiving a $742M CBP IT Support Services task on Alliant 2. R&K added another TSA award with a $22M Occupational Safety and Health support contract. MineLight also surfaced after winning USDA executive-level and NBAF restructuring support work.
Civilian and defense modernization drove sustained engagement. Stealth picked up visibility after securing NOAA Appian support for the Permitting Information Management System, while AIS beat out six competitors to win another NOAA ProTech 2.0 task supporting fisheries disaster operations. LMI added a $45M Air Force Analytical Infrastructure and Mission Analysis IDIQ. Cyntel gained traction with an Air Force Information System Security Officer support contract. An Akima subsidiary beat out seven competitors to secure a $62M DoD Office of Inspector General IT infrastructure support contract. A HunaTek-led joint venture rounded out the day with a $69M Navy ONR Outreach and Website Support IDIQ.
AI and platform innovation continued to build. BLEN generated interest after its ClinicalTrials.gov MCP Server became an approved connector in Anthropic’s official Claude connector directory, another sign that AI-native federal tools continue gaining traction.
