A quick scan of Arctas activity today shows a handful of companies pulling ahead, driven by very specific moves.
Leadership and strategic talent movement set the early tone. AMERICAN SYSTEMS drew attention after former Border Patrol executive Kathleen Scudder joined the company. Rise8 followed with Sarah Wear coming aboard, while Guidehouse picked up engagement recruiting recent DHA CFO Deputy Assistant Director John Lee.
Contract momentum quickly took over. DAS Federal, a 2026 Elev8 GovCon honoree, gained traction after securing the NIH NCI CTEP PIO Operations and Support contract. Hedgelan continued its momentum beating out five competitors to win an NIH OALM Administrative Support task. The AGovX and 22nd Century joint venture moved up after securing a $19M USPTO Electronic Business Center support contract.
Defense and civilian agency work drove sustained engagement. LMI surged after winning a $172M CBP Border Patrol Quality Assurance Inspection Support Services contract. IEc surfaced after being named as a prime awardee on the $58M CPSC Data Analytics BPA. YRCI gained traction with a USDA Forest Service HRM support task. Leidos generated strong interest after securing $626M in DISA Cyber Defense and Cybersecurity Services Provider support work. Serco also drew views after landing a $90M Army PPB BOS support contract.
Innovation and ecosystem positioning rounded out the day. GAMA-1 registered engagement after joining the Goddard Contractors Association to deepen NASA collaboration efforts. PAE Maritime also surfaced planning deployment of CORAS.ai FedRAMP High and IL5 decision intelligence and agentic AI capabilities.
No theatrics. Just leadership, contracts, and capabilities doing the work.
